One question I frequently get asked is, why did I write my book, “Goodbye to Pain”? The answer is rooted in a profound and personal journey that I felt compelled to share with the world. I wanted to offer a real story—my story—to demonstrate how I overcame my pain when conventional therapies could not provide relief.
For me, this journey was both physical and emotional. It involved a significant shift in my thinking, particularly challenging after working within the NHS for over 20 years. Trained to focus on evidence-based medicine, I initially dismissed complementary therapies as mere “tree hugging and hippy stuff.” My trust in the traditional system, however, was met with boundaries and restrictions that impeded my progress and hindered my return to a normal life.
“Goodbye to Pain” is not just my story. It’s a collection of stories from some of my clients who also struggled with chronic discomfort. Through their experiences and mine, I hope to illustrate that there are other possibilities out there—avenues of healing that go beyond the conventional methods many of us are accustomed to.
This book represents my dedication to helping people and animals find freedom from discomfort. It’s about exploring new paths and being open to other solutions that can bring genuine relief and a better quality of life.
If you’re someone who has faced similar challenges or knows someone who has, I invite you to read “Goodbye to Pain.” This book might just be the inspiration you need to explore new avenues of healing and reclaim your life.
